What should I bring and what should I wear?

Yoga: Wear exercise clothes and sneakers. Bring a yoga mat (or use ours) and a drink bottle.

Meditation: You can wear anything you feel comfortable in. It is meditation class, the time you can wear whatever you like. People often wear their jeans or their business attire.  We recommend bringing a jumper or scarf and a drink bottle to class. In a class we usually alternate between meditating on a yoga mat, sitting on a yoga block (surprisingly comfortable) and lying down on the mats. However, you can lie down the whole lesson or sit on a chair the whole lesson.

What if I laugh, cry, sneeze, cough, blow my nose, itch or move my legs while meditating? 

No problems, we are all human. If you need to move, there is no issue. Sometimes your mind will tell you that you need to desperately change position but that is just your mind not used to being still.

What happens in a meditation class, do we meditate for ages?

In a typical class we split our time in the following way: 60% meditation, 30% theory and 10% class discussion. The meditations usually last between 3 to 30 minutes.

I follow a religion will I be uncomfortable in the meditation class?

Our school is non-secular and is not based around a specific guru and/or particular religion. 

We teach different styles of meditation which have originated from some religions but we teach in a non-secular way. There are no long spiritual rants in our classes.
