This meditation covers physical, mental, spiritual and behavioural elements relating to trust.
To add a sensory element to your meditation, you can prepare for an aromatherapy experience. You will need a base oil, such as coconut oil, jojoba oil or almond oil and a pure essential oil, patchouli is recommended for the root chakra.
Add a drop of the the essential oil to the base oil to a base oil and gently massage over the base of your spine before the meditation. The oils are absorbed into the body, working from within to improve general wellbeing.

Sit in a comfortable position and start focussing on your breath for a few minutes as you settle your mind and your body.
Now begin to observe the base of your spine, at your tailbone. Visualize a glowing, ruby red crystal. The red glow spreads in all directions. This red glow brings strength, security and support. You’re radiating health and vitality.
As you inhale and exhale, imagine the glowing red crystal radiating good health into your body. Feel the red glow energising your body. You rest in this awareness. Feel yourself healthier than ever before. When you are ready, open your eyes and arise.
